The
2006 Philadelphia 100 Hall of Fame Inductees
At the
event, The Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia,
The Philadelphia Business Journal and The Wharton Small Business
Development Center inducted three new members (one company
and two CEOs) into the Philadelphia 100 Hall of Fame:
SES Advisors,
Philadelphia, PA. The company was founded in 1987 and has
appeared on the Philadelphia 100 in 1999, 2000, 2004, 2005
and 2006. SES Advisors helps closely-held companies and their
shareholders achieve liquidity, plan for succession, and transition
to employee ownership through Employee Stock Ownership Plans
(ESOPs).
Mark Barraclough
for Four Seasons Mechanical Inc. (appearing on the Philadelphia
100 in 1991, 1992, 1995 and 1997) and Alpine Mechanical Services,
LLC. (appearing on the Philadelphia 100 in 2006). Alpine Mechanical
Services is a self-performing HVAC service provider specializing
in the Retail Industry within Regional Malls and Shopping
Centers in the Northeastern United States.
Christopher
Ulsh for Group9, Inc. (appearing on the Philadelphia 100 in
2006, 2005 and 2004) and Palma, LaZar and Ulsh, LLP (appearing
on the Philadelphia 100 in 1996 and 1997). Group9 provides
innovative insurance programs and information services to
the real estate lending industry.
The criteria for
making the Hall of Fame is:
• A company
which makes the Philadelphia 100 list of fastest growing,
privately held companies five times or more.
• A person who held the position of CEO for two or more
Philadelphia 100 companies at the time they appeared on the
Philadelphia 100 list of fastest growing, privately held companies
five times or more.
